Hanane Elmastour received her Bachelors Degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the Sidi Mohammed University in Fes, Morocco. After her studies, Sister Hanane taught 4th- 6th grades in Fes. When relocating to the United States, she worked at Powell's Learning Center for five years where she worked with Pre-K through Kindergarten aged children. During this time she also earned her CDA Credentials, and more recently, in 2008, updated her teaching credentials.

Sister Hanane currently teaches Arabic, Islamic Studies, as well as Salat. Her goals with her students is to help them succeed, and become the best scholars that they can be.
